Dear Lord – thank You for giving us work to do for You. We ask you to bless the Move-A-Thon. We ask for many people to register and participate, for excellence in every detail, so that the bridge between Alamance and Africa will be strengthened and Your Kingdom will be advanced. ANSWERED PRAYERS!
We've ask Pat Conner our lead intercessor to cover our family & ministry with 21 days of focused prayers, please join us in prayer and if you would like to submit a scripture and prayer we welcome you to!
DAY 4: OF 21 DAYS OF PRAYER
Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bring your children from the east and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’ Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth— everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” (Isaiah 43:4-7)
Dear Lord -- thank you for utilizing the Dick Family to bring your love to those you have lovingly created. I pray that you will bring your sons and daughters from the ends of the earth as a result of the love, ministry, and grace demonstrated by the Dick Family. Amen.

“But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.”
Thank You Lord that You have appeared to James and Deanna and commissioned them as ministers and witnesses. We ask You to strengthen them as they fulfill Your purposes in Tanzania and we thank You in advance for all the things You will yet reveal to them. In Your Name – Amen.

We believe in the power of God's word, we believe that when we pray God will answer:
I John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us; 15)And if we know that He hears us; whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have desired of Him
So, for the next 20 days, we are inviting you to pray focused prayers of faith with our family. Thank you!
DAY 2: OF 21
Ezekiel 22:30
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none
Father, thank you for placing a burden on our heart to pray for our city. Thank you for allowing us to pray and to make a hedge about Burlington and Dodoma. You said if you found someone to make up the hedge you would not destroy the city. We are standing, making up the hedge and repenting on behalf of the sins of the people. Forgive us oh God and have mercy on us. We stand for our city Lord, bring us to a place of repentance, change us by your spirit Have mercy on those who have not heard and will not hear. Have mercy Lord, in Jesus name. Thank you

With great excitement and joy we embrace this new year and would like to thank each of you for standing with the Dick family in prayer and support through 2011.
We have an earnest expectation for God to show Himself strong in this year, in YOUR lives... in OUR lives and in all the peoples of earth.
This year we will host our anticipated
5K BENEFIT MOVE-A-THON !
Our MOVE-A-THON invites walkers, runners, bikers, skaters, skateboarders, pets and friends, stroller striders, and wheelers!
Join us downtown Burlington registration begins @ 8am and the MOVE begins @ 9am. There will be shopping, food, fun for the kids, give aways, entertainment and fun for the whole family!!
Our benefit: Supporting the Dick family Missionaries to Africa, we will move to Dodoma, Tanzania at the end of Spring 2012 to OFFER, HOPE, HELP, & LOVE.
We will work with International Christian Center(ICC). Supporting them by helping to develop leadership for children, youth and college ministries to begin with.
By assisting an existing ministry it will serve their need for help, and it will give our family the much needed time to learn the language, understand the culture and be come acclimated to the customs. We look forward to being a blessing
